The Kunhitharuvai Memorial Charitable Trust - KMCT was established in 1994 by Dr. K. Moidu a leading medical practitioner and a visionary educationist for imparting quality education in different professional fields. KMCT is located in the serene hillocks of Kallanthode Hills, Manassery and Mampatta around 25 Km from the Calicut city in Kerala. Away from the commotion of the city, the Campus is set in a lush green and tranquil environment - an ideal place to pursue education. The first institute to come up under KMCT was the National College of Pharmacy in 1994 and from this humble beginning, there are now more than 22 professional and non-professional institutions in 4 different campuses, that is in Kallanthode, Manassery, Pooladikunnu Campuses at Kozhikode district and Kuttipuram campus in Malappuram district. More than 9000 students studies in these campuses. The campuses of Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM K), National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C), Indian Institute of Spices Research (IISR), National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) are all situated in a radius of 10 KMs from the campus.
