IEEE

IEEE SB of KMCT College of Engineering is one of the Student Branch which is under MalabarHub (KeralaSection). The Student Branch was established during the year 2009.The main aim of our Student Branch is inspire, enable, empower & energize our student members to enhance their technical interests by providing them a platform to showcase their skills. There are more than 400,000 IEEE members in over 160 countries around the world. IEEE members are engineers, scientists & associated professionals whose technical interests are innate in Science and Technology related fields.

IEEE also offers JobFair and Organizes Technical Awareness Programmes for young professionals. Regular programmes are being conducted under the leadership of the Branch Counsellor Mr. Arunlal CK. Many volunteers of our Student Branch were awarded by IEEE Kerala Section. Now, IEEE is available for all Branches to enhance their technical knowledge & skills. NSS

NSS unit of KMCT College of Engineering (Unit No - 188) is one of the well-known NSS unit in Kerala. The unit had started its activities during the year 2012. The main objective of our NSS unit is to instill social commitment among its students. Regular Programmes are being conducted under the leadership of the Programme officer Mr. Deepak Devasya. Seven day camp of this year ‘Karmayanja 17’ was conducted at LP school Kumaranellur. The main project was conservation of water and Jalatharanga. A 3 day state camp, NDART was also conducted in the college campus during the period of 27,28,and 29 of February 2016. Our volunteer secretary Shan Backer & Jahana Shirin had participated in NAC (National Adventure Camp) held at Himachal Pradesh.

Extensive Library

LIBRARY & INFORMATION CENTRE

Welcome to the Library and Information Centre.
The Library and Information Centre of this college started in the year 2001 with a collection of 1500 books. At present it has a collection of 32830 volumes and 14248 titles. Our Library with a few exceptions is regarded as a service institution. Its aim being enables the users to make the most effective use of the resources and services. The Library and Information Centre acquires materials, processes it and make it available for the use rather than preservation. It allows open access to its collection and provides service to its users. It is expected to convert the potential users to habitual users.

Hostels

Excellent hostel facilities are provided seperately to boys and girls within or very closse to tech campus with ample recreational facilities.

Transportation

The institutions have a fleet of buses for regular trips between Kozhikode city and the campus for the benifit of students and staff staying outside campus.

Canteen and Cafeteria

Full fledged canteens and cafeterias in the campus serve the students and staff members wholesome and nutritious food, drinks and snacks of their choice.

Excellent Facilities

Our institution have most modern labs, well equipped workshops, and fully networked high-end computer workstations. A Large library with sufficient books and journals have also been made available to the students. A fully functional placement cell is there in the college for helping and guiding the students to improve their career prospects.

Sports, Games and Cultural Activities

The Campus have large playgrounds and the group provide all facilities to students to pursue games, sports and other extra carricular activities for their all round development.
