The NSS Unit organized a disaster management awareness program as a part of the International Day of Disaster Reduction. Posters on various natural calamities and their management technique were displayed all through the campus. Charts showing and reminding of the damage caused due to the recent flood were also exhibited. A silent prayer was offered to the victims of the disaster. The fund collected (Rs. 29,000/-) from the students for the Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund was handed over to the Principal, Prof. Ranjith C by the Program Officer, Mr. Shameem P C and Assistant Program Officer, Ms. Teena George.
