The NSS Unit organized a cleaning drive on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi at the Primary Health Centre, Kallanthode. A total of 20 NSS volunteers participated in the event. Fully charged with passion and energy, the volunteers wore hand gloves and started the cleaning activity from the entrance of the Health Centre and cleaned the garden, roads and all the surrounding areas. They also removed all the debris like polythene bags and bottles and disposed them off safely. By the end of the day, the area around the Health Centre was clean and neat. The student volunteer, Mr. Jishnu and Ms. Ramscy along with the Program Officer, Mr. Shameem P C and Assistant Program Officer, Ms. Teena George and the Health Centre Officer Ms. Jancy also planted a sapling in the health centre  premises. The work of the NSS team was deeply appreciated.
