IETE

The IETE Professional Activity Center at KMCT College of Engineering was inaugurated by Dr (MS) SNEH MOHAN, Vice President IETE NEWDELHI on 22.03. 2010. The IETE arranges technical meetings, symposia, conferences and exhibitions in India. The center is also given the charge of conducting the diploma level and engineering equivalent IETE examination.

 The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is India's leading recognised professional society devoted to the advancement of Science and Technology of Electronics, Telecommunication & IT. Founded in 1953, it seves more than 69,000 members through various centres, whose number is 57, spread all over India and abroad.

ISTE

The  Indian  Society  for  Technical  Education (ISTE)   is  a  national,   professional,   non-profit  making  society  registered  under  the  Societies  Registration  Act  of  1860.   First  started  in  1941  as  the  Association  of  Principals  of  Technical  Institutions  (APTI),   it  was  converted  into  “Indian  Society  for  Technical  Education”   in  1968  with  a  view  to  enlarge  its  activities  to  advance  the  cause  of  technological  education.   The  major  objective  of  the  ISTE  is  to  assist  and  contribute  in  the  production  and  development  of  top  quality  professional  engineers  and  technicians  needed  by  the  industries  and  other  organizations. The ISTE is doing really a noble work. It  is  indeed  a  fine,  network  between,  Technical  Associates,  Teachers,  entrepreneurs  and  students.

Indian Society for Technical Education, KMCT Chapter has been established in the Year 2004. From its inception, the society has been playing a key role to propagate and promote academic and co-academic standards in the Institution. The  institutional  chapter of  ISTE  will  also  prove  beneficial  to  the  Teaching  faculty  and  facilitate  their  all  round  development  and  career  and  academic  enhancement,   by  imparting  able  guidance  and  orientation  through  Short  Term  Training  Programme  (STTP)  and  seminars.

19th ISTE Annual Kerala State Convention was held under the auspices of KMCT College of Engineering on 15th November 2008. Prof. N.R Shetty, National President, ISTE, inaugurated the Convention and gave the address.
